Indoor plants are great: they improve air quality, reduce stress and improve the overall aesthetic. Unless they are dead. Inspired by a personal plant care side gig, Rootine is a fictional subscription service providing expert plant care. No fuss, no hidden costs, no limp peace lilies.

The challenge was to create a direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand that made plant care accessible and straightforward for individuals and businesses.

Rootine had to establish itself as an expert in the indoor plant care field, without being patronising. To achieve that, the advertising campaign used the most commonly googled plant care questions. The logo uses a simple lowercase wordmark with subtle upward-curved elements to reflect a friendly and approachable feel, in line with the brand’s mission.
